Mountainside Wellness is an Approved CAP Service Provider

Mountainside Wellness is proud to be a registered service provider for the Community Assistance Program (CAP) through Autism Canada. This program helps autistic and neurodivergent individuals, or those awaiting diagnosis and their families, to access essential therapies and supports by providing up to $2,000 per year for psychological assessments, and up to $1000 per year for other eligible supports for services not covered by public or private programs.

As a CAP-approved provider, we offer neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred care for children, youth, and adults across British Columbia including autism screenings, extensive treatment plans and reports, and mental health supports; helping reduce financial barriers to wellness and services.

About the CAP Program

The Community Assistance Program offers direct funding for a range of services available at Mountainside Wellness, including:

  • Autism screenings with detailed reporting and treatment, skills, tools, and education plans.

  • Behavioural or life-skills interventions

  • Counselling and mental-health supports

  • Transition and coaching services for youth and adults

Why Choose Mountainside Wellness

As an official CAP provider, there is no fee for CAP referrals through Mountainside Wellness.

We can submit up to two applications per year, and priority is given to clients with the greatest financial or service need. Funding is also dependent on available CAP funds and application review.

Our experienced, inclusive clinicians specialize in ADHD, autism, trauma, and executive-function support. We handle the CAP paperwork and bill directly with Autism Canada, so you can focus on care and not administration.

How It Works

  • Contact our team to discuss eligibility.

  • We complete and submit your CAP application directly to Autism Canada.

  • Start your services once approval is confirmed and a signed agreement is in place. If approved, CAP pays Mountainside Wellness directly for the eligible services once they are completed.
