      <image:title>Our Team - Gunjan Kundhal MPCC-Provisional Associate Counsellor</image:title>
<image:caption>Gunjan Kundhal is a registered Master Practitioner Clinical Counsellor (MPCC – Provisional). She brings a grounded, compassionate, and relational approach to counselling, supporting individuals navigating trauma, identity transitions, grief, emotional regulation, and relational challenges. Gunjan’s work is rooted in deep respect for each client’s lived experience and inner wisdom. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), Person-Centered, Somatic, and Existential approaches, Gunjan tailors therapy to meet each client where they are cognitively, emotionally, culturally, and somatically. She believes healing is not about fixing what is “broken,” but about creating safety, curiosity, and choice so clients can reconnect with themselves and move toward integration and self-leadership. Gunjan has a strong interest in working with clients impacted by trauma, attachment wounds, identity exploration, cultural displacement, grief and loss, and emotional overwhelm. Her counselling style is warm, attuned, and collaborative, offering clients a steady presence where vulnerability is met with respect rather than judgment. Somatic awareness and nervous system regulation are woven into her work to support clients in reconnecting with their bodies and expanding their window of tolerance. As a Punjabi Canadian woman and a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Gunjan practices with a high degree of cultural humility and trauma-informed awareness. She is especially mindful of how systemic oppression, cultural expectations, and identity-based marginalization can shape mental health and relational patterns. Before entering the counselling field, Gunjan built a diverse professional background in healthcare settings, simulation-based training for social workers and law enforcement, hospitality leadership, and the performing arts. These experiences have strengthened her capacity for attunement, emotional regulation, clear communication, and holding complex relational dynamics, skills that translate directly into the therapeutic space. Gunjan views counselling as both a professional discipline and a relational practice. She strives to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, grounded, and deeply human, where clients are supported in exploring meaning, agency, and inner resilience at their own pace. Whether working through grief, identity questions, or relational patterns, Gunjan walks alongside clients with care, curiosity, and integrity.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Community Resources - ADHD Counselling Canada</image:title>
<image:caption>ADHD Counselling Canada is a national directory and advocacy hub dedicated to connecting Canadians with counsellors who specialize in ADHD, Autism, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. Founded to make ADHD-aware counselling more accessible across the country, the organization brings together clinicians who understand the lived experience of ADHD and celebrate neurodivergent strengths rather than pathologizing them. Through its comprehensive online directory, individuals can easily find licensed counsellors, coaches, and mental-health professionals who offer virtual and in-person services. Each professional listed provides compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to the unique needs of ADHDers, whether that means improving executive functioning, managing emotions, or building self-esteem. ADHD Counselling Canada is also a community and education platform, supporting both clients and practitioners through advocacy, professional training, and awareness initiatives. By fostering collaboration among counsellors and mental-health organizations, the platform strengthens Canada’s growing network of ADHD-informed care. Beyond its directory, ADHD Counselling Canada champions equity, accessibility, and representation. It prioritizes counsellors who work from inclusive frameworks and who understand intersecting identities within the neurodivergent, queer, and disabled communities. This approach ensures that every person, no matter their background, can find a therapist who truly “gets it.” Today, ADHD Counselling Canada continues to expand its reach, promoting national visibility for neurodivergent professionals and empowering Canadians to embrace their authentic selves. <image:title>Community Resources - QMUNITY</image:title>
<image:caption>QMUNITY is British Columbia’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community hub, providing connection, resources, and support for queer, trans, and Two-Spirit people across Vancouver and beyond. Since 1979, QMUNITY has stood at the heart of advocacy and inclusion, helping individuals and families navigate identity, belonging, and wellness. As one of Canada’s longest-running queer organizations, QMUNITY continues to create safer spaces where everyone can live authentically and with pride. Based in Vancouver, QMUNITY is entering an exciting new chapter with the opening of its new purpose-built facility at 510 Burrard Street. This state-of-the-art building will allow QMUNITY to expand its programs and welcome even more community members into an inclusive, accessible environment designed with 2SLGBTQIA+ voices and needs at its core. The new space will include counselling rooms, peer group areas, and spaces for education and celebration; a home that reflects the diversity and strength of the community it serves. In addition to the new building, QMUNITY has also launched a Legal Clinic that provides free and low-barrier legal services to queer, trans, and Two-Spirit individuals. The clinic focuses on issues such as name and gender marker changes, housing and employment discrimination, and human rights advocacy. It stands as a vital resource for community members who may face barriers to accessing traditional legal support. QMUNITY’s services extend across generations, from youth programs that help young people explore their identities in safe, affirming environments, to older adult services that honour the resilience and history of those who paved the way. The organization also offers counselling, peer support groups, and educational workshops that empower individuals to find community, heal from trauma, and build stronger futures. Beyond direct services, QMUNITY plays a leading role in education and allyship through its Queer Competency Training and community consulting programs. These initiatives help schools, workplaces, and healthcare providers become more inclusive, giving allies the tools to support 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals with respect and understanding. For more than four decades, QMUNITY has been a driving force for change — leading with compassion, amplifying underrepresented voices, and building bridges across communities. With its new space, expanded programs, and deep commitment to justice and inclusion, QMUNITY continues to create a province where queer, trans, and Two-Spirit people can not only live, but thrive.</image:caption>

<image:title>Community Resources - Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce (CQCC)</image:title>
<image:caption>The Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce (CQCC) is a national organization dedicated to building a stronger, more inclusive economy by empowering 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurs and business leaders. Formerly known as the CGLCC, the CQCC works across Canada to create opportunities for queer-owned businesses, foster meaningful connections, and advocate for equity in every sector. The CQCC’s mission is to advance the success of 2SLGBTQI+ business owners through education, advocacy, and connection. By helping queer entrepreneurs access resources, networks, and recognition, the organization lays the groundwork for an economy where everyone can lead and thrive without barriers. Rooted in values of community, diversity, equity, inclusion, and collaboration, the CQCC believes in bold leadership and integrity as tools for lasting change. Its programs are designed to amplify queer voices in business, challenge systemic inequities, and ensure visibility and opportunity for all members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. Across Canada, there are more than 100,000 2SLGBTQI+-owned businesses generating over $22 billion in economic activity and employing more than 435,000 people. Despite this tremendous impact, many queer entrepreneurs continue to face systemic barriers, with nearly half reporting that they conceal their identities in professional settings and more than a third saying they’ve been denied opportunities due to their 2SLGBTQI+ status. Her mentorship empowers Indigenous youth to explore entrepreneurship, leadership, and self-determination. A strong voice for human rights, she continues to advocate for equity, justice, and positive change in the Downtown Eastside and beyond. Among Sisters Sage’s best-known creations is the Smokeless Smudge Spray, a modern, smoke-free way to experience the sacred cleansing and grounding of traditional smudging. The collection also includes vegan soaps, bath bombs, and healing salves; each crafted with respect for Indigenous traditions and the natural world. Lynn-Marie’s vision extends across Canada and internationally, inspiring others to embrace wellness through culture, heritage, and community.</image:caption>
